energy loans for commercial energy efficiency projects

MACED offers:

    • Up to $10,000 for an energy microloan for lighting and appliance upgrades

    • Custom energy efficiency loans for larger projects

Lighting and appliances are common types of equipment that use a lot of energy in almost every enterprise, that’s why we’ve developed the $10,000 energy microloan. In Berea, contact our loan officer, Danny Isaacs at disaacs@maced.org for more information. In Paintsville, contact loan officer Regina Becknell at rbecknell@maced.org.

Below are some examples of the analysis and financing MACED has provided:

• A business located on wooded acreage in Rockcastle County, Kentucky, wanted to install a more efficient heating system. With MACED’s help, the business chose a wood-fired boiler. The estimated total cost of the equipment and installation was $23,000. After consultation with MACED’s loan officers and a review of the business’ assets, MACED offered a loan for the full amount.
